VISIT BY THE STUDENTS OF YASHWANT RAO SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK

8-Feb-2017

Today we had a visit from a very enthusiastic and talented bunch of students from the Yashwant Rao School of Social Work, Satara Maharashtra along with two of their equally enthusiastic lecturers.

They were very eager to know about the work we do so we had a little presentation on our work and a round of questions from the students regarding the challenges we faced, the process of our workshops, how we get our funds etc. We later showed them some of the work done by our women’s group.

The teachers and students were very happy to see the intricate and hard work put in by the women and went on to purchase some of the items.

At the end the students sang a wonderful song on Bhagat Singh with great fervor and we did get a feeling of patriotism at that moment! The whole Tara Trust team was very happy to have them over at the office. It was a very fulfilling and rewarding day not only for them but for us as well!
